There’s a reason the name Tom Ford has become synonymous with refined luxury. Born in Austin, Texas in 1961, Ford initially pursued architecture at New York’s prestigious Parsons School of Design before finding his true calling in fashion.
His remarkable ascent began at Gucci in Milan, where he joined in 1990 and swiftly rose through the ranks—from designing women’s ready-to-wear to Creative Director by 1992, and Artistic Director just two years later. His vision breathed new life into the storied Italian house.
In 2005, Ford struck out on his own, launching his eponymous label and partnering with the renowned Marcolin Group for his eyewear collections. Each frame reflects his exacting standards: hand-crafted with meticulous attention to detail, fashioned from the finest materials, and finished with the signature stylized “T”—a subtle mark of distinction.
