Seeing Precision Firsthand

Visiting Rodenstock’s Thailand Operations | Bangkok, September 2024
In September 2024, Dr Nick and Ange travelled to Bangkok to personally visit Rodenstock’s Thailand facility and see firsthand how Rodenstock lenses are made, including the precision, care, and advanced processes involved in production. We wish our patients could see just how much goes into producing the lenses they wear.

Sharing Our Experience with Peers

Invited by Rodenstock to Present in Japan | July 2025

In July 2025, Dr Nick and Ange were invited by Rodenstock to present in Japan, speaking to their peers about their journey in practice and the difference Rodenstock technology has made for patients at Eyes by Design.

Being asked to share their story on an international stage was a proud milestone. It reflected their expertise and real-world experience with premium lens solutions, and offered a meaningful opportunity to contribute to professional conversations around personalised vision care.

Meeting Rodenstock Leadership in Sydney | February 2026

In February 2026, Dr Nick and Ange had the opportunity to meet Søren Ostergaard, Head of International Sales at Rodenstock, during his visit to Australia.
Over dinner at The Rocks in Sydney, they learned about Rodenstock’s future innovations, including developments expected in 2029, keeping us and our community at the forefront of lens technology as it evolves.

Upon meeting Dr Nick I felt at ease and he was extremely validating accommodating. I have adhd and anxiety and he made me feel comfortable and even went the further steps to fully explain in detail the processes and technologies he uses. This was such a positive experience for me and he and Raymond have been nothing short of understanding and accommodating with me. After the appointment Raymond was so extremely nice helping me choose frames and answering my questions. The ongoing support has also been amazing.
